One of my favourite spots for a great day of relaxation is Copacabana Beach Club! There's something about sitting back under an umbrella, the sound of the ocean and just soaking up the sunshine that stays unmatched! Copacabana is located on the Carlisle Bay stretch in Bridgetown. One thing that makes them stand out the most is their bright red umbrellas that you can easily spot from in the distance. There are many day- pass packages that you can choose from, in order to start your relaxing day at this beach front facility! Whether you just want an umbrella and chair, or you want to start a tab for food and drinks, its all available here!
The tide at Carlisle Bay is very calm, so even if you are not the strongest of swimmers, you can still comfortably go into the water and get yourself some vitamin sea! Often, there are different beach sport activities happening along the bay, such as: glass bottom boat adventures, snorkelling, jet skiing, banana boat rides and many more!
Copacabana also has a unique partnership with Virgin Atlantic! Here, you are able to check in for your flight right there at the beach club and enjoy your last few hours on the island soaking in paradise! When you've finished, your transportation to the airport will be waiting for you! I always thought of this as such a fun way to end a vacation here in beautiful Barbados! This would definitely be an experience I'd love to have if given the opportunity.
Opened 7 days a week, this family friendly and fun friendly beach is one that anyone will enjoy! If you're thinking about doing a day pass here I'd defiantly recommend it! Take some time to sit back, relax and enjoy a beach day here at Copacabana Beach Club!
